Four Scottsdale teens were arrested Thursday after a police officer recognized them from a video posted on the Internet; it documents their destructive rampage in a Scottsdale parking garage.
Four Scottsdale teens were arrested Thursday after a police officer recognized them from a video posted on the Internet; it documents their destructive rampage in a Scottsdale parking garage.
The video posted on YouTube shows the boys pulling down their pants for the camera, smashing the front of a vending machine and taking snacks, then smashing windows on vehicles parked in a garage.
One of the victims, whose car was damaged, was located by her license plate seen in the video, according to a police report.
Two other victims of the February rampage had reported damage seen on the video.
It was a Scottsdale Police School Resource Officer who recognized the boys seen in the video, helping officers identify and locate them.
Two of the teens were arrested at their schools and the other two at their homes.They range from 12-15-years-old.
All face charges of Burglary (from the vending machine) and Criminal Damage, according to the report.They were booked and released to their parents.
